Description | I am an internationally published photographer who calls Arizona home. My obsession with the craft of photography began in the Autumn of 2001. I was 20 years old and didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. 9/11 had just shaken all of us to our core and that event had instilled in me a strong desire to do something that mattered. That something for me became photography. I began by documenting my friends and the things going on around me. I poured over every book and article I could find on the art of image making and absorbed it all while developing my own personal style and vision. Eventually I stuffed a large duffel bag with a few cameras and clothing and moved to New Orleans where I would attend the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts and begin mastering the details of black and white darkroom techniques. From New Orleans life took me to Pittsburgh where I would complete my formal education at the Art Institute. After graduation I began working as a studio manager and first assistant to a successful advertising photographer and used that time to learn the art of the business and the skills and attitude necessary to tackle large ad campaign productions. Over the next 10 years I eventually went on to form my own commercial photography business and shoot campaigns for many different companies large and small. My career took me all over the United States and even to Europe where I worked on global automotive campaigns for companies such as Lincoln and Cadillac. I now reside just east of Phoenix, Arizona at the base of the Superstition Mountains with my wife Cassie and our two dogs. My business has transitioned more or less from producing large photo shoots to shooting what I love to do in life and finding commercial art buyers to license my images. While my main business will always be my work at www.travisshoots.com I decided after numerous requests by people to buy prints of my work to start Explorizona. Here I offer an easy way to order your very own piece of my artwork for your home or office. I have always treated photography as a fine craft and with sticking to that thought process have been very selective with my gear, technique, and finishing. You'll find my photographs to be of the utmost quality. I thank you for stopping by and taking the time to view my work and read a bit about me. I hope you find something here that you'll love enough to display in your home or office. -Travis Neely | This meta description is 2447 characters in length. <meta> keywords | Arizona Landscape Photography, Landscapes of Arizona, Superstition Mountains, Superstition Mountain Arizona, Siphon Draw Trail, Flat Iron Arizona, Southwest Mountains, Southwest Landscapes, Arizona Landscape Photographer, Arizona Photographer | Strangely enough, meta keywords still seem to be used. We would not go down that road unless very carefully - meta keywords have not been known as a positive ranking factor for a while now. |
Site speed | Around 1.1574 seconds | The website load speed is rather good. |
Links on homepage | Around 3 links | This looks... a little suspicious, to be honest. |
HTML size | 39.6KB | A very good result, this. Remember, search engines such as Google place a lot of their website ratings on its speed. |
Website host server overview | Server status: online. Server IP address for this website is 198.41.209.118. | We apologize, but for some reason we were unable to gather enough data to provide a detailed insight at this time. |

Servers are physical storage devices that contain all the files and databases associated with a specific website, sometimes more than one. At times, a server makes up several virtual devices - separate servers used for shared hosting (tends to be cheaper). Entering website address into the address bar of your browser starts the request process during which your browser contacts the server and asks for specific files and database entries in order to display the requested website.
What follows is certainly very geeky, but informative for the knowing. Dig in:
