2. When it comes to great reputation, Norton and the company behind the software, Symantec, are up there with the best. When it comes to infamy, WoT is quite lonely. WoT (or Web of Trust) is, to put it mildy, perhaps the least reputable and trustworthy (oh, the irony) of sources that we can think of at this moment. The reason is simple - so many of the negative reports are false. And, what's even worse, WoT used to sell personal user data to third parties. Yeah, it's that bad. Still, we are including the data here for one reason - in case they are right, even one time out of a hundred. Just keep the context in mind and double-check... after tripple-checking. Got all of that? Ok, then. According to Web of Trust, mpc.am has a Trustworthiness rating of 50 (out of 10). We can't help but wonder what rating WoT themselves should receive... But let's not dwell. Take these ratings for what they are worth (which is to say, not always all that much).
3. Heard of Sucuri? You may have, despite the young age of the online security company. It was first started by Daniel B. Cid a few years back, in 2010, and is now owned by GoDaddy. Young it may be, but it already has proven to be quite a reputable expert and we tend to trust Sucuri's assessments. Now that that's clear, let's get to the point - Site Potentially Harmful. The website is also Blacklisted (10 Blacklists Checked): Indicates that a major security company (such as Google, McAfee, Norton, etc) is blocking access to your website for security reasons.
